Our Chickens
Our pasture-raised and free-range chickens lead a more natural life, wandering outside and searching for their own food to supplement the high quality feed and fresh fruits and veggies provided to them. This lifestyle not only promotes healthier birds but also produces meat and eggs that are more flavorful than those from conventional farming. At Warrior-Whiteard Farms we pride ourselfs on enabling our chickens to display their natural behaviors and live in a less stressful setting.
Bielefelders
Bielefelder chickens are a unique breed known for their striking appearance and excellent qualities. Originating from Germany, they are recognized for their distinctive color patterns and friendly temperament. These birds are not only good layers of brown eggs, laying roughly 200 a year, but are also appreciated for their hardiness and adaptability to various living conditions. Bielefelders are dual purpose birds that are raised for meat and eggs. At full grown hens weight between 7-8lbs with Roosters weighing between 9-10lbs. Bielefelders make a great addition to any backyard flock providing both companionship and productivity.
